You guys are nuts! You really don't believe that Mendez took a dive, do you???? If you want to say that Mendez was not in shape for a 5 round fight, that's one thing, but saying he took a dive is disrespectful to everyone in the UFC! It's ridiculous to say that! He was knocked out when he landed on the ground! I guess you guys like fighters and fights when they just lay on top of someone and eek out a victory??? You got to be kidding me! Those fights suck! I like the way Mcgregor fights! He was training for a stand up fight against the pound for pound best fighter in the UFC, who has the most devastating leg kicks probably ever! Then agreed to take a fight against probably the best wrestler in the division with 2 weeks notice! On top of all the training, he was promoting the most lucrative PPV in UFC history by traveling back and forth to Ireland and the USA, not missing any training or PR work! I hand it to him for taking the fight, because he had a TON to lose! Many would of declined that challenge and opt to wait for Aldo to heal! Nothing against Mendez, he is a class act and comes from one of the best teams in the business! I just don't like it when a fighter comes out and lays on top of someone for 5 rounds and takes the win, which is exactly what Mendez would have done/tried to do if he was in better shape! Kudos to Mcgregor for knocking him out... Just like he predicted he would do! LOL

I take nothing away from Conner brother I just don't like the way he hypes the fight. Kind of like the way Tito hypes a fight. I like fighters that are more humble. I am really looking forward to this Aldo fight now

I don't care for the dramatics either, but I will say that I do enjoy watching fights better when the fighters do not like one another! Initially, I thought Mcgregor was just another flash in the pan, but after watching his docu-series "Notorious", and watching some of his fights, I became a fan... I just like the way he fights and if part of his game is to get into the heads of his opponents by talking smack, then so be it! He just better be able to back it up! BTW, I watched the TUF finale the other night and Mcgregor will be coaching the European Team Vs. the American Team which is being coached by Uriah Faber starting in September... Should be good! LOL

I love you wook. Now that I'm calm, I'll try to explain myself.
1) I don't hate conor mcgregor. I actually like him very much. And I appreciate what he does to earn himself a buck.
2) I absolutely DO NOT think Mendez took a dive (although anyone who thinks that this isnt possible is beyond naive).
3) I DO believe that Herb Dean was commanded by someone to stop the fight at the earliest opportunity.
4) This was not an enormous test for Mcgregor. Chad came into the fight off the couch. Yet Mcgregor still looked average.
5) I don't believe mcgregor has a chance against mendez given a full camp.
6) For me, this isnt even about Conor. It's about the UFC. These fuckers are getting real weird, and I can't figure out why or what exactly is going on. All I know is that the bullshit machine is running at full steam.
BTW. If someone puts you on your back, and you can't get up, that's your fault, not your opponent's.

Makes for good conversation if nothing else! LOL

I don't mean to be disrespectful, When you shower something with tons of money some of the shit on the money is bound to rub off. Baseball is pristine as rocky mountain snow. Shoeless Joe Jackson never threw a game , Pete rose never bet on his own team. Randy Couture did not do TRT. Like MMA athletes some how have more integrity than anybody else ? Don King had his fighters best interest at heart yada yada . But the UFC is totally incorruptible yeah right I felt pretty Disrespected when I paid $50 for a pay per view and fucking Anderson Silva comes out clowning around like a drunk with his hands down and his chin out.

Sorry guys...I don't want to be a hater, but I'm still pissed Mendez lost that fight. It's like he gassed immediately. Just wait till Edgar eventually meets Mcgregor.

I am not pissed that chad lost, I am pissed that Herb fucking called the fight with a few second left in the round when chad was still defending himself IMO. Even if he wasn't, its a TITLE fight, Herb is WAY
better than that. IE: Last nights joe louzan fight, herb is standing there watching the asian guys head bounce off the canvas knocked out and didn't even call the fight. But chad gets dropped and arms start
waving.
I also think that if edgar is composed, he could beat mcgregor. I personally rather see a Edgar/Mcgregor fight than Aldo/Mcgregor.
Chad gassed, Herb called the fight too early.
PM is best way to contact me.

Boring! Edgar will lay on him for 5 rounds! Aldo will stand up and fight... Dana already said that Aldo gets the next shot... Thankfully!
