Man were the old Pride shows AWESOME, It was like watching history, All the great fighting arts competing against each other, Sorta... I guess... whenever the Yakuza let the fighters fight without predicting the winners ahead of time!
We used to go watch UFC at my brothers house and would watch Fedor fights then be disappointed in the UFC. Fedor would’ve fought anything you put in the ring with him. Then walk away with its head. He was truly just a fun fighter to watch.
Early 2Ks before Dana White took over and tried to make rules, those pride fights were truly a cage match. Best fighter that night is the one who survives the night.

I liked the first few UFCs before weight classes.
Dan Severn was awesome but couldn’t do much once he had someone down.
Wrestling at its best!!
Tank Abbot was crazy to watch.
I just started watching Slap fights.
Totally awed watching these guys.
Dana White is gonna get rich yet again!!

I have been watching arm wrestling. Lots of Devon Larratt. Not sure how forearms aren’t snapping all over the place.
Those slap fights are harsh. Some dude with a hand as big as your head gonna slap you in the face, only after he practices spinning like he is gonna throw a shot put.
