UFC 141 salaries: Overeem ($386K), Lesnar ($400K) lead $1.4 million payroll
Main-event winner Alistair Overeem ($385,714.28) and fellow heavyweight headliner Brock Lesnar ($400,000) were the top earners at Friday's UFC 141 event.
The duo accounted for 57 percent of the night's official $1,369,714.28 fighter payroll.
MMAjunkie.com obtained the salary figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Friday.
UFC 141 took place Friday at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view, and prelims streamed on Facebook and aired on Spike TV.
Overeem scored a first-round TKO victory in the night's headliner, which earned him a guaranteed title shot. It also sent Lesnar into MMA retirement. In the co-headliner, Nate Diaz ($74,000) earned a decision victory over fellow lightweight Donald Cerrone ($30,000) in a heavily anticipated grudge match.

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive.
For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $75,000 UFC 141 bonuses to Hendricks ("KO of the Night"), as well as Diaz and Cerrone ("Fight of the Night").
In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.
