      steroids for heavyweight mma

      Hi

I found quite a bit of info on steroids and mma, but much of it includes limitations linked to staying in a specific weight class.
46 y o here, more into powerlifting and with poor cardio who started MMA recently. I´ve been blasting and cruising lately so curious on how I could help MMA/grapping/Muay Thai while at it, as I´m having more fun on the mat than at the gym. 250lbs for 5ft10.5
I definitely have some fat and water weight I could lose but that´s not a priority, and would rather stay at least at this weight, don´t mind getting bigger as long as endurance improves alongside - at the very least doesn´t get worse, it also seems I lost some of the fat (and strength in the gym...) since taking up MMA, and would train more if resistance got better (done some Muay Thai in my youth but no grappling whatsoever, feel like I´m dying when sparring any length of time on the floor, especially if someone grabs or presses my neck). Just started Oly weightlifting as well, so far 1 hour per week, but will probably add oly lifts to my routine when they start to look better - figured I could use the extra mobility and explosivity associated with Oly while still working on very short rep ranges, which I enjoy most.
Now on 200mg Test C/wk, 50mg proviron ed and GH 3.3IU/day, planning to start soon a cycle @ around 700mg Test /wk ( around 500 test C plus test base on tougher training days), 50mg Proviron ed, 200/300mg/wk Deca and 4IU GH ed
      Thanks for all advice !

I'm extremely new to the world of A.A.S/ P.E.Ds, but I seem to see 2 trends when it comes to taking them. Gaining a bunch of muscle, then trying to maintain muscle while burning fat. If you aren't doing resistance training I'm not sure why you would run all that gear. I'm not a fighter so maybe I'm wrong. I imagine endurance will come on it's own with doing it overtime. And they have compounds for aggression but I dont think it would fit since youbarent competing and your just having fun. You could probably stay at a cruise dose for a while and get stronger and faster overtime. Just my uneducated, noob opinion

Thanks for your input. Sure I do resistance training, until recently powerlifting 5 to 7 times a week (i prefer shorter more frequent sessions) but 60 to 90mns mma sessions changed a lot, they leave me very tired and sore. Lowered PL to 3 longer sessions week and atm doing 3 mma classes. Would love to add mat and/or ring time while keeping up with PL (very average there but not quite a noob) and improve oly lifts.
I m reading lots of fighters use aas but at very moderate doses, yet there is very litte information specifically targetted at hesvyweights.it seems running even a lot of test can damage endurance, like holding too much water and gettinh rbc past a certain undefinite treshhold, plus having a lot of muscle mass tjat needs obscene amount of oxygene.
On the plus side as I m so low at the moment in endurance after not doing any for a good 3 years it should improve while spending time on the mat.
Besides you are right, popping halo before a training session does sound neither nice nor healthy nor necessary. I ll check some test base anyway, see if i can handle better having other big guys trying to choke me (not that more advanced lifters are particularly heartless where I train, it s just tough dealing with the sensation of them crawling on and around me. Heard many times one get used to it after some practice, so there s still hope)

Trust me I get it I'm a larger BF% as well. I'm trying to get back to competing at powerlifting. I'm no bodybuilder. I've been a gym rat for a while. New to PEDs. I can offer a bit of advice there

      1) Train the sport you enjoy most so you'll stay active and dedicated. Sounds like you want to switch to MMA. Which is great but you cant powerlifting and do MMA efficiently. I would drop the PL and focus on OLY movements. The explosiveness will help in the ring I'm sure. Muscles have memory and whatever you lose on the Big 3 will come back if you ever decide to switch back.

      2) The fighter that use PEDs I imagine are training for a career.

      3) In my opinion there isnt a PED out there that will make you not feel beat up after getting beat up. I just goes with the territory. Overtime I'm sure itll get easier. Again the ones using PEDs for training probably train 3-4 hours a day.

      4) being as large as I was when I went on cycle, I recomped so easy. Fat just seemed to melt off while I got stronger. Didnt have to realy do extreme changes. Ate better and trained hard.

      5) higher BF% means you aromatize easier. Lose fat you aromatize less.

I'm sure some Veterans will chime in.
As I said earlier. I'm a meathead, noob at best with AAS. But be careful

Thanks again for your input Shawn, and good luck with your return at Powerlifting !
Will think about switching more strength training from PL to Oly over the next few weeks, seing how training goes, especially that I read PL for MMA fighters involve Strongmen style exercises like farmers walks, tire flips and sled, all which i can do at the Oly place (a crossfit gym actually which has an Oly coach come twice a week) but not at the PL gym
About 3), I´m not considering those but there are actually anti pain/opiates medicines that are or at least used to be used by fighters to numb the pain during fights (Marc Kerr springs to mind). There were 2 posters here who happened to discuss those, @BabyBull and @Bombarinos I think, but I´m not sure they are still around. I was thinking more of PEDs to give agression/heart, like will push me to keep on grappling rather than tapping out fast from a mix of exhaustion and feeling of powerlessness rather than because of a submission. Can handle more or less full rounds standing up but no way when it gets to the floor. Did pin 70mg test base yesterday before going to training, which was floor and sparring, hoping to last longer on the floor rather than flee immediately and spar with the kick boxing folks, but it didn´t seem to help… Might have to reconsider doing any blast over 500mg/wk total, will see how it goes.
