      No, I haven't experienced any negative sides from this Halo run. I have felt a little more easily aggravated by dumb people this past week. I attribute at least part of that to the Halo as that isn't really me for the most part

      Day 25. Off day today. Took 30mg of Halo as a single dose at 6:00 PM. Today's agenda was just to rest and eat a number of high quality protein and complex carb meals. To provide some background on my nutrition, I shoot for eating 250 to 300 grams of protein a day. Primary protein sources are eggs, tuna (aren't you sick of tuna at times), chicken, fish (salmon), and the occasional protein shake. To be honest I don't count complex carbohydrates when I'm in a bulking phase; the most simplest way I can say it is- I eat all the complex carbs I can throughout the day. I don't watch exact fat intake either, but I generally eat a diet with a moderate amount of fat (not opposed to dirty bulking at times when training for all out size as I'm not someone who puts on a lot of bodyfat). 15 weeks out from a contest (when I was competing) I slowly start really paying more attention to the amount of carbs and fats in my diet. Then, 10 weeks out, I really start counting exact protein, carb, and fat intake. Last 4 to 5 weeks, I cut out almost all fats. Carbohydrate sources for contest are rice, and corn based only, no wheats as wheat has some estrogen mimicking compounds, and you know that you need to really control estrogen pre-contest. Hope that gives some insight into how I go about bulking and contest prep.

      Day 27. If you're wondering what happened to Day 26., I had one last training seminar to attend then a family function in the evening so I've just shifted my training days over a day. So, today was day 27 and I trained chest, light triceps, and calves today. Took 30 mg of Halo as a single dose two hours before my workout. I have 30 mg left which I'll take before tomorrow's workout. Chest: 5 sets incline dumbbell presses with the bench set at a higher angle; 4 sets of flat bench dumbbell presses; 3 sets upper chest cables; 3 sets middle chest cables: finished with 3 sets of low bench higher rep hex presses. Light triceps: 5 sets of straight bar cable push downs 15 reps each set. Calves: 8 sets seated calf raises to failure with 4 45lb plates. Feeling stronger than fawk. I do feel like my strength has increased a little more with the increase from 20mg to 30mg's of Halo. Tomorrow will conclude this Halo run. IMHO, if you're considering running Halo for strength training, it starts to shine at 20mg/day.

      Day 28. Back, light biceps, and abs. 30mg Halo was taken 2 hours pre-workout as a single dose. Back: 4 sets close grip cable pull downs; 4 sets dumbbell rows; 4 sets moderate weight straight bar seated cable rows palms up; 3 sets machine assist wide grip pull-ups; 3 sets rope pull downs. Light biceps: 4 sets light weight preacher curls; 3 sets light weight concentration curls. Abs: 7 sets ab crunches 15 to 20 reps. Today concludes my Monster Halo run. I had a bit of a setback early in the run when I came down with the Flu, but things got back on track with training and diet. For me, I certainly felt that the Halo increased my strength once I'd tapered up to 20mg/day and a bit more so at 30mg/day. I want to thank Monster, Joko, and Squidd for the opportunity to run Monster's Halo and log my experience. Going to continue my current cycle for the next 11 weeks, then transition to a different 15 week pre-contest cycle. Plan A is to enter a show July 14, if I don't feel I'm quite ready for that my backup will be a show August 11.
