I was 380 at age 29, thats what I could consider low. Thats the same as most 80+ year old men. Although my doctor said its completely fine and acceptable and 'within range'.
Basically anything under 500-600 and it becomes quite difficult to put on mass and strength. Although not impossible. I made some great gains at 380, using various methods before I started cycling. (although I wasted some time with sarms and pro hormones before i decided to just do roids like a man)

Depends what you mean by dangerous. TRT has been shown to increase prostate issues in older men, but then again low test is linked to heart problems and someother bad things too.

Testosterone replacement therapy is now being prescribed more often for aging men, the same population in which prostate cancer incidence increases; it has been suggested that administration in men with unrecognised prostate cancer might promote the development of clinically significant disease.

So there has to be some predisposition according to some studies but still, if TRT can cause issues, I would imagine supraphysiological levels of any kind simply keep increasing the risk. If you had a gun to my head and I had to guess, I'd say anything about 800-1000 is where extra problems can start but thats just a big dumb guess. Don't quote me.

Some futhter reading on test causing prostate issues if you're interested. Of course, adding further AAS adds in its own issues, one of the most dangerous but underrated problems that arises is BP and would be one of my very first concerns when I started pushing the limits. If you see my log, I'm taking very sensible doses, but I see people on 5x the amount of gear I'm on.
