50 years old and needing advice
Ok guys, here is the million dollar question. I am 50 years old and have been out of the gym for a few years. I am 5’8” and 175lbs. In the past I was 185 and 7%body fat. Now, about 30%. Im needing to be educated on what I can use to assist me in getting back close to where I was quickly and safely. I have researched hgh, but wondering if there is anything better. As I stated, I need educated, so treat me as a child and explain simply and completely. Thanks for y’all’s understanding and time!

Im up there with you.
I would get a hormone panel done first...see whats up with your Test levels, E2 (estrogen), etc etc
Go from there, u may or may not need to be on TRT with synthetic testosterone injections (no gels, pads, pellets, lol, all that shit)
HGH can go well with a TRT protocol, but your test levels are what u need to know first. If u know your test levels are good, hgh alone (Im not schooled there) for weight loss ?
Other than that, the weight loss thing is going to be diet. The drugs can help, if diets on point. Unless your hormones are really out of wack (most likely not) u should be able to drop weight with diet.

^^^ That. And you know you have to get that bodyfat down. Doesn't have to be 7% but between 12-15% would be good.
Once you got that down, I'd go with test again. It's been awhile since you've been in the gym. Good test cycle would be good. And, Test is the best for us anyway.
I'll be 50 next month, my man. I don't know what I'd do without test. Love the stuff!!
Get those bloods done and keep us posted.
Good luck on whatever you decide and have fun.

Loosing weifght is mostly about what you eat, Till that is in check the other things may not do much good.

I agree with getting bloodwork, if test is low, than trt is probably all you need for now. I'd give myself at least a year of getting back to lifting, as our bodies take much longer to get back use to it! If you been 7% bf before, you know how to diet. Take it slow, build a good base, try to stay injury free, get your bf down naturally, then maybe consider a cycle down the road. Good luck bro!

at 65 I got 15 years on you brother. I would venture to guess that "being out of the gym" a few years also means diet and cardio has not been spot on. Coupled with age, soooo hard to keep bodyfat off. At your age free t and HG and IGF-1 levels most likely way down. That is just normal physiology. I would start with getting back in the gym and good diet. After the feel and rhythm comes back, then go get your bloodwork and see where your at. If you decide to go with drugs, there will be alot of help around here
