      Pumpless workouts

Has anyone run into this problem? I can't seem to get a pump on most bodyparts regardless of what I do. Back and calves are the only bodyparts I get a pump on. I've tried heavy weights and low reps, light weights and high reps, more rest or less rest in between sets. I eat plenty of carbs, therefore I am not depleted. I rest plenty during the day and at night. You name it, more than likely I've tried it. Is this an age related issue? (I'm a 50 yr old natty). The reason I ask if it's age-related is because this situation is fairly new. Pumps were never an issue until relatively recently.

Carb timing can help. Not only with the pump but also with recovery.

Cialis will help too. I like to do both.

Also try to make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes, especially salt. RE-LYTE is a good product. Water intake is a big deal too. I’m over 40 I take cialis and carbs and electrolytes before training in the AM. You could also buy some MK-677 and you’ll be pumped all day long

Tried Cialis before. It gave me unimaginable migranes.

Salt consumption is tricky for me, since I have to watch my blood pressure. I've tried MK-677 before, however it was strictly for a tennis elbow condition. I couldn't tell the difference in pumps because I didnt have the issue back then. I've been sewating profusely since I started power walking. So perhaps I need to work on my electrolytes. Thanks for the feedback!

could be your training. Make sure to use full range of motion with slow controlled eccentric and loaded stretch. you should feel the target muscle during the movement.

also, try switching up the exercises. for example, swap barbell bench for dumbbells or cables.
try switching up the order, for example do flyes first before pressing etc

I'm known for everything you mentioned. Not only for full range of motion, but my form is impeccable. I always feel the muscle I work on. In addition, I never "lock out" in order to maintain constant tension. If you read my previous messages, you'll notice I stated that this is a relatively recent predicament. In other words, if everyhting remained the same (workouts, diet, rest), then why am I not feeling the pump anymore? Thank you for chiming in.
