HCG for only PCT?!
Hi guys, I was approached by a good friend of mine and he told me he was planning on taking just HCG as his post cycle. I believe his cycle is 10 weeks of test E at 300mg twice a week. and tren twice a week im not sure at what does.
Something tells me that you cant just use HCG for PCT and I am posting to ask the reasoning behind this or the reasoning that you can. Thanks guys
also another question. How long should one wait after completing PCT to start another cycle?

The general rule is time on plus pct equals time off. I would not suggest hcg for pct because it will continue to suppress lh function keeping your endocrine system shut down. Hcg is much better used during your cycle when lh will be suppressed anyway because of the added androgens to your system. However hcg could be used after ending a steroid cycle if you suffer from testicular disfunction as sort of a restart. The power pct protocol is good in this situation

He at least needs some clomid or nolva. Hcg is supressive and won't do anything to block the estrogen when coming off.

Good catch forgive me for missing that. Clomid 100/50/50/50 nolvadex 40/40/20/20 should do fine for pct

I was told not to use hcg for pct. During cycle 250iu twice a week or 500iu e3d the pct would be
clomid 100/100/50/50
nolva 50/50/25/25
Aromasin 12.5 mg ED

You shouldn't need aromasin during pct as long as you kept your estrogen in check. The serms will do there job and saturate the mammary glands fighting off gyno and your estrogen levels will drop with your test levels dropping because there will not be excess test to aromatize to estrogen anymore

I'll just add to this :
Agreed that HCG isnt required , however if he doesnt bounce back with a clomid/nova PCT , id suggest he looking into running a POWER pct , to kickstart him again , but i doubt youll end up having to go down this path

Excuse my ignorance. . . I looked around for a POWER pct protocol and can't seem to find it. . . Would someone care to point me in the right direction or explain the POWER pct? I appreciate the help brothers and very insightful info Kubes... I was confused by the use of HCg as well... So one could use HCG right after a cycle to kickstart the testes then run Nolva/Clomid a week or 2 after? Or use HCg the last 2 weeks of cycle would matter then PCT?
