Thread: Ivf

Hey fellas. So turns out my lady isn’t pregnant from the iui we did 2 weeks ago. She’s very upset about it. Have any of you guys had to do ivf instead of iui?

Bump ? Ivf is what we have decided to do.

Dude i didnt qualify for iui so we did ivf twice. god dam narcotics im taking is basically what killed my test, I think just being on test alone id still be able to get her preg. So, a month ago I ran a heavy dose of HMG for two weeks before ovulation but still no go.

It sounds like youre in the same boat as me. I will say the IVF we did they didnt test the actual quality of the sperm they only checked the basics, shape, motility, etc so i think if i got the genetic/more in depth testing they would be able to pick the best of the best sperm to use and im sure that would work.

Right before I started this cycle they tested my Sperm and said it was good. So I went ahead and had it frozen. Right now I’m in the process of saving up for ivf. Hopefully it works.

We did IUI, no dice. IVF, nope. We were advised the odds were not great because of my sperm motility, that's why we went with IVF. After a couple rounds, we stopped trying and wife signed up for school. Bam - pregnant. I know this doesn't help, and it was the last thing my wife wanted to hear while we were trying, but even if all else fails, there still a chance.
