This is the age old debate...which one is better. I think it comes down to preference so for any newb work with both and find the one that suits you.

For me I prefer Aromasin....less sides and I find it WAY easier to modulate my e2. I don’t use much on TRT dose and only add some in when I hit around 500mg test, but that’s my. Figured this out through how I feel + bloods.

The key to remember is to NOT over dose and suppress e2 too much as estradiol has many benefits to the human body when in ratio to test and progesterone. Too low and your joints will hurt, libido will be gone, erection will be gone, depression sets in, fatigue and you loose some gains.

Simplicity of how they are different...

As it is an Aromatase Inhibitor, it works by blocking a specific aromatase enzyme in the body, which is responsible for the production of estrogen. As the aromatase process is reduced, this, in turn, means that the body’s levels of serum estrogen will also be reduced, sometimes by as much as 80%. Arimidex has also been found to stimulate the production of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) which both play integral roles in the production of testosterone within the body.

Aromasin is steroidal, as opposed to Arimidex, which is a non-steroidal AI. Used for the same reasons and somewhat new, it inhibits aromatase enzymes within the body, but it can also block aromatization outright. This means that it can prevent the formation of estrogen completely, rather than just suppressing it. Aromasin has been found to promote an increase in the production of Insulin-like Growth Hormone, or IGF-1, as it is also known.
