      PCT Blues

Was on testosterone (nothing else) for about 15 months before I decided to come off. It's been 5 weeks since my last pin, and I've finished 3 out of 6 weeks on clomid. I was getting insomnia from estrogen issues towards the end, so I got on an antidepressant that's supposed to help with sleep as well (mirtazapine). Currently weaning myself off of it.

I expected to feel shitty, but wow did NOT expect all this crazy anxiety. It's debilitating at times. One day I'll feel somewhat normal again, then the next day I'll get hit by waves of shit. Maybe it's the testosterone leaving my body, maybe it's the clomid, maybe it's the antidepressant, maybe it's my state being locked down for 6 months now, maybe it's the PNW winter where we don't see the sun for weeks and it's always raining.

Just needed to vent because sometimes you feel like you're going through it all alone. If anyone else is also going through PCT, I hope yours is going well.

Many prefer just nolvadex as opposed to clomid... or both. Also did you use hcg? Aromasin for estrogen rebound?

I have nolva but just used clomid because it worked in the past for me when I did sarms/prohormones. Didn't use hcg. I crashed my estrogen with arimidex repeatedly towards the end of my cycle which is why I decided to come off suddenly. Haven't taken any since my last pin since I didn't want to crash it again and wanted things to level out.

Blasted 5 months test cypionate @ 500mg/week. Cruise 9 months @ 100mg/week. Started 2nd smaller cycle @ 300mg/week. First cycle was fine and I took adex to control e2. But then I think I started the adex too early and it probably wasn't even necessary on my 2nd cycle and crashed my e2.

I couldn't get it dialed in, and then didn't sleep correctly for about 5-6 weeks and finally decided to come off and my last pin was Dec 20, 2020. Didn't use anything but testosterone. Planned PCT is clomid 50/50/25/25/25/25, and I'm about halfway through that.

Sleep was pretty bad towards the end of the 2nd cycle, so I went to the Dr and got an antidepressant that helps with sleep. I've been sleeping ok since then, just dealing with the wild mood swings and anxiety/depression. I'm sure the AD might be contributing to that, so I'm weaning myself off it. Down to a quarter of a pill per night, and plan to be off completely within 2-3 weeks. Also the clomid as well, which I have around 3 more weeks of. Hoping in a month's time I'm in a better place!

How old are you? My last pct I was almost 50 and after my Nolvadex and Clomid pct cyle I felt like complete crap like you, pulled bloods after 8 weeks, test was 160. I did not bounce back so I cruise now. My advice is after 8 weeks if you still feel like crap get bloodwork.

I'm 30. That's a good idea, I'll wait 2-3 more weeks and get bloods. Hoping I can bounce back since I'm still kinda young.

Yeah, it does help me sleep. But I wanna get off it as soon as I can since I don't wanna go down that road of needing pills. I'm pretty sure that the original e2 issues messing with my sleep are fixed, I think I just have low test and high stress hormones.
