I was once in your boat bro, I have tried to fight these battles on and off for years. I roll at least 4 times a week and powerlift. I'll be honest...I have not found a way to continually progress in both... unless you spend some serious time looking at your mobility and stretching. You cannot just train both 100 percent and not use some kind of training to "bridge" them together.

On the other hand deca has healed some injuries sustained from years of jits and judo and lifting has helped avoid further injuries in relation to my shoulders but its a balancing act.

I honestly think anything that makes you pump to much is bad for your BJJ.
