      What are your goals?

Do you have a number in your head for Bench/Deadlift/Squat that you would like to achieve that you consider a “respectable” number? What is it? How did you arrive at that figure?

I'm not a strong person naturally....fucking ecto genetics. My goals for 2018 are to bench 275 5x5. I can't really come up with a squat or dead figure since I can't do them currently due to some serious knee/IT Band issues in my right leg. If the PT I recently started resolves it, I'd be happy with anything 400+ for both without pain or further injury to start and go from there. I just came up with those figures based on what I'm doing now with bench and what I was doing previously before injury.

My goals this coming year would be my bench at 325-350, squats around 450-475. And my deads to be around 475-500. But mostly just to get back in the game and my routines to be more consistent. But my wife just informed me last night that she registered both of us in the OKC Memorial half marathon.

Goals this year are 640 squat 460 bench and 660 deadlift. Just this year I’ve added 170lbs to my totals. This jump would be an added 115lbs. I feel like I left quite a bit on the stage his last meet as well. Didn’t struggle with any lifts and hit 9 for 9 whites.I’m fairly new to powerlifting and still working on form defects so I feel like this is an attainable number

My current bench goal is to hit 300 finally. I’m probably pretty close now, but haven’t checked in a while. This was always the magic number in my head when I was a kid. I didn’t know it at the time but I didn’t know how to train properly to get stronger then.

I’m a lot better at squats than deadlifts for some reason. I was squatting 315 for reps the other day, so I’m thinking maybe I could do 400 right now. 500 seems like a nice, achievable number.

I know everybody else deadlifts more than they squat but not me. 500 seems a lot farther off in deadlift.

My squats have always been heavier than my deads. Like 50-75lbs heavier. I just loved squatting. My pr for squats were 645. And my deads pr was 585. They’ve never ever been really close until these last 2 years and I just basically did nothing but deads and maybe squat 1x a week to 1x every 2 weeks. Then my deads increased a lot. Then I stopped on bench. Did nothing but back, legs and shoulders. I’d do chest 2-3 a month. I just don’t get into benching. Yeah I know that’s fucked up. Especially since everyday is international bench day
