Hope everyone is having a great Saturday! I’m stuck at work for 4 more hours then it’s time for the iron jungle. My least favorite day of the week, accessory bench... but it’s essential! I’m completely wrecked from this first week already. Switching back to lifting heavy is always rough at the beginning bc I put my muscles to work like they haven’t done in a while. This is the first time I’ve been on HGH during a powerlifting prep so I’m hoping it will help with recovery and injury prevention.
What’s everyone got on the menu for this weekend??

Venison backstraps and homemade jerky probably gonna end up making a cheat meal tomorrow night and fry up part of the backstrap, wild morel mushrooms I vacuum froze from this spring, with some bacon wrapped jalapeño cream cheese venison poppers

Close grip bench up to 5RM of 315
Seated OH press up to 8RM of 185
Barbell rows 4x8 @ 315
Decline sit-ups 4x10 w/ 75lb DB
Skullcrushers up to 8RM of 120
Tomorrow is my first day off of work in 13 days. No idea what I’ll do but I plan on enjoying my freedom!

Man I haven’t been able to do OH press in about a year due to shoulder issues and I’m feeling 100% finally. Hoping to really push that number up the next 11 weeks. Really helps a lot to increase your bench.
Also something most people don’t know or think about.. if you’re trying to make a muscle group stronger, you’ve gotta work the antagonist muscle as well. That’s why I’ve got a nice amount of back work. Most assume it’s for deads but it’s mostly for bench press.

It’s heavy leg day again boys and girls. Been a long day off work running errands and getting a new tattoo. Gonna need to pump myself up to bang this leg day out. I also HATE being at the gym at prime time. Luckily nobody uses the mono lift at my gym except for my wife and me. Here’s the schedule for this week. Pleased with how heavy coach is having me go on deadlifts and squats so early in prep. High hopes for a monster total in 11 weeks.

Brutal workout. But I’m feeling very strong for this early in prep. Can definitely feel the added strength from Tren already. Upping the dose today to .85ml ED to hit 600mg/wk.
Squat 495lb for 4x3
Leg press 750lb for 3x12
Deadlift 395lb for 3x3
Sit-ups 3x12
Ham curls 4x15
