I gotta say anyone who doesn't know Droid is missing out. Things have slowed just enough for me to now spend a few minutes hanging with my fellow BOP'rs, which I've missed greatly, and after talking with Droid and getting to know him he's a really great guy and I'm really looking forward to getting to know him better.
He helped me finally make a decision on a new approach I'd been considering to train my front delts and I really like what I'm seeing so far from Droid.
Much love and respect homie. Now be careful with that Halo. Vic's Halo is lit bro. I'm dosing it at 20mg with 25mg Dbol for pwo only and I literally could go on a rampage at the gym. It's an intense stack. Now I've done it at 40mg as a stand alone and it wasn't as intense as half the mg and stacked with Dbol. I've found that timing is critical with this Halo too. There's definitely a window wherein your mental focus is peaked. IMO it is all about the mental edge and rage that helps me push more weight. IMO it's a very different oral that what I was accustomed to and takes some time to dial in. I dose it on an empty stomach which is different than for example how I dose Adrol. I've also noticed that when I was on Tren Halo didn't yield the same level of intensity.

Last meet was in November and I cut about 15lbs. My lifts definitely suffered so I’m trying to avoid it if possible this time around.
Current PRs from my last meet are:
Squat - 584
Bench - 384
Deadlift - 639
My training is based of 5RM for each lift. My 5RM for each lift are up at least 30lbs each from last prep so I expect 100lbs on my total. Goals are 425 bench, 625 squat and 700 dead. I lift raw also in sleeves only.

Thanks for the kind words Riggs! I’m definitely excited to try this Halo out as it’s the first time I’ve been able to incorporate it into my training prep. Will keep you and everyone else up to date when I add that in.

Droid’s Meet Prep Log
Alright guys just got my first weeks training sent to me. The first week is spent mostly hitting the main 3 lifts hard and establishing baseline weights for all the accessories.
For those unfamiliar, when it says 2/fail on these programs it is telling me to leave 2 reps in the tank on the first sets but on the last set I will go to failure. Same will apply down the road with 1/fail (1 in the tank; last set to failure). This correlates to the RPE (rate of perceived exertion) chart that I will post up as well.
My coach has a spot for me on the program to give my failure set results and also an indicator of how the exercise felt as a whole. This is on a scale of -1(felt like shit or hurt),0(was just “okay),+1(felt great).
Ignore anything over RPE 10. I won’t be using this in powerlifting prep. This is great for forced reps and extended sets in volume hypertrophy work though.

I wanted to mention another thing about this prep. My wife will be training and competing at this meet with me. I love that we can do this together and she’s got a real talent for it. Last year was her first meet and she totaled over 900 and set 2 state records in her federation and weight class. I’m super excited to see where she’ll be this year. Coach thinks she’ll smoke a 1000lb total for sure.
If anyone is interested in the female side of powerlifting training, I can post her training program along with mine and share some of her experiences as well. Just let me know and I’ll add that in.
