      Strained hip flexor

Was doing sumo deadlifts and felt my hip flexor pull. Somewhat tender in the front and also my outer hip. How can I heal this up fast?

I've strained mine several times in the past. I had to just do extension, curls and calf work for a few weeks and ice them til they heal. Then gradually go up in weight when you add squatting and leg pressing back in.

This is the best advice. I did the same a couple months ago now and im still dealing with it. On top of strain I have very minor tears i can feel in there. If its that mentally debilitating you can try to help the recovery process, I outlined what I did on my daily log in the log section. It was as follows

1 5mg shot of TB500(injection site doesn't matter its BCP that is site specific)
7-10 days of MK677 around 15-20mg each night before bed
7-10 days of Ostarine around 10-15mg each night before bed
Massage and Mobility as often as comfortable without ever causing pain just lightly push the end ROM.

I followed this protocol for a week and couple days and my hip is significantly better. It stayed good until I tweaked the other other night while fucking lol so just be cautious about how you move while its recovering. Thus protocol hits it from different pathways to speed up recovery and it works. I hope this helps you and I wish you a speedy recovery, peace.

Take pain relief meds and first 48 hours Ice.. after 48hours low grade heat to the area. Increase Vitamin C and maybe add collogen protein or just increase protein intake.

My injury..I did what my doctor said.

Oh ya. I'm fine..I was mainly showing how bad it was. What I told him, is how I healed it up (per the Doc).
