I've always used sumo less rom and it feels like you use more muscles to lift the weight so less chance of injury

I feel that its still important to train conventional de or speed days to avoid any lower back weaknesses or lock out issues

Louie (WESTSIDE) had stated before that Sumo translate to Conventional but Conventional doesn't translate to Sumo. For lower back I recommended Good Mornings, hip thruster, etc. I think that they have some lifter that train most Sumo but compete conventional. I'm a Sumo guy 100%. Work good so far.

I can never get comfortable pulling sumo, hurts my hipe. Can generate much more power from the floor with conventional. must be the way im built
