Is DC geared more for PL or BB?
Gaining weight obviously has to include a diet plan and I find it hard to believe that guys are going from 218 - 270 in 2 years without massively raising their BF% along with it.

It's designed to put on mass, not for cutting, which is a huge part of bbing.

I have been doing this style of training for years, with clients too. Sometimes with less warm up sets ,but we have an identical scheme

I started working with a very similar program about the same time DC hit the boards with this. As powerlifter this was unheard of . I was already using rest pause training but 5 second RP. the other thing I did different was train 2 day on, 2 of..Being Jewish we did not lift on Shabbat, so we would get a couple of extra days of rest a month. I was competing at a weight of 280- 304 and moving serious poundage's, not only did I break the American record for the Bench using a reverse grip in the sub masters 240s, but I put on 60 lbs of muscle over the next year and a half. My wife who had never trained before trained 6 mo and broke 5 state and national records and won her weight class the CA State Powerlifting Championships in the USPF. At this point I follow pretty close to Dantes pattern because it works.
