Highland games athlete here. Everything has been canceled due to C19, Yaaa....not happy about that.
I'll be 65 in January. Training for a comeback. Last comp. was 2013. This beat up version of me decided I've got more to do. I've lost a kidney to cancer. I've had two shoulder replacements and a knee replacement. Here's how I got like this: Started training for football at 14. Played through H.S. College and minor league pro. Went into bodybuilding and did a few pl meets. At 45 I committed totally to powerlifting. From 45 to 57 I won 14 world championships and broke 28 world records. Best single ply lifts were 830 squat. 600 bench.622 deadlift. 2006 total. My body paid a great price on this journey but I'd do it all again...obviously! It gets in your blood; don't it!
