I started lifting in my early 20s. I hit it hard for about 10yrs. I then took about 8yrs off. I am now 40 and been back at it for about 3yrs. I am alot smarter but don't heal near as fast. My last meet was a push/pull raw meet, benefit for toys for tots about 2months ago. I weighed in at 343. I benched 420 and pulled 650.I decided to drop weight as soon as that meet was over. I weighed in at 305 tonight so Im down almost 40 and my strength has taken a beating. Last night we benched. I put on the slingshot at 365 and finished with a single at 410. Then 3boards with 315 for reps and finish with 225ultra wide paused for sets of 10. Tonight we pulled deads. Standing in the grey mini bands I went up to 406 for 6. Then I did SSbar GMs with 2plates for 3sets. Then curls and pulldowns. Finish with straightleg weighted situps. Wanted to do rev hypers but ran out of gas.
