Good one about the deadlifts and so true. You can't go into it with even one iota of negativity. You "dive bomb" into it, although it takes practice as I can't count the many times I dive bombed into the bar with the grip off and I'd be fucked. Besides the tunes you might get into, at a meet the crowd watching will give me even more adrenaline to get into it.

The truth is it is the truth. If you cant get fired up and be seething intensity then maybe you just arent cut out for moving a ton of weight. It doesnt matter, wether it be nose tork, heavy music, or whatever it takes to get you there, do it, move the weight, and treat each rep like its the only one that counts no matter how much is on the bar. Perfection, intensity, work, agressive training. It will take you places. Get dialed in, and get in the gym and execute your programming
Ppl might look at that vid and laugh, but fact is Clint is good at moving heavy weight, so id take any advice he has to offer
