If you dont do anything else in the gym you should squat imo. I dont care how much someone can bench, how much can you squat and not throw up or die that's what impresses me.

as i first got into lifting weights 7 years ago i was a half squatter. I got up to doing 275 for like 5 reps half squatting. Someone in the gym talked me into lightening the weight and doing a paralell squat. great advice . i dropoped my weight that i was squatting to 185lbs and have increased the poundage very much while also being a parallel squatter.
