      Vacuum Filtration System

I always used the Syringe filtration System but it is very tedious, so I went to the Pure Raws website and want to use the Vacuum Filtration that Bigrob used. I see that the "collection bottle" has a nipple on it. I am guessing it is there to be hooked to a vacuum pump? I am lost and need some help in understanding how it works...Cant get in touch with BigRob???

      Thanx Drac

I used to use the syringe filters all the time too and it got old. I started using Autofil 250ml .22um full assemblies. I got them on amazon in a 12 pack. If has the nipple you're talking about and it hooks up to a vacuum source. I use a hand pump like you'd use to bleed brakes on a car. I can filter 250ml in less than 10 minutes now. It used to take me a little over an hour to do 200ml before with syringe filters. Just be careful not to use too much vacuum pressure or it will crack the bottom of the bottles.

Yeah bro, its rough on the fingers to use the syringe filters. Did you buy a glass receiver for the filtered gear?? That would be the bottle below with the nipple as Bigrob suggested or was it the plastic one that comes with the kit. BTW I'm from NYC bro so I ain't familiar with Hand Pumps you use to bleed brakes since we get busy on da "Iron Horse", whats it look likem

Great info. Wanna do my own sometime so it's always good to see posts like this. You find the answer before you ask the question!!
Everything I say is fictional and ONLY for ENTERTAINMENT purposes. GoPR is a purely fictional Character. I am not a medical professional nor am I a Doctor. So my advice should not be taken as such.
