I read it. Maybe i didn't keep an open mind, because it is still bullshit to me. Makes me believe that if god is real, then he is a cunt. It doesn't matter if you are a good person or not, we are all prone to the same suffering. Just because someone chooses to love god, doesn't mean they will be exempted from suffering or sickness. You would think that someone who loves god and does his good deeds, would be protected, but no, they get fucked by him too

Dont know you. I felt compelled to comment..so please dont take offense but, God loves unconditionally as we are supposed to. Of course we fall short all the time. But that doesn't mean he loves us less. Life can be hard and life can be nothing but suffering. The point is to love even in suffering and be light for others suffering around you. Life is a lesson to be learned. Most lessons are hard learned. God also let's us and others around us suffer for our decisions. Again using it has a means to learn and grow. I can only relate this to the love I have for my daughter. I let her make some choices so she can get things wrong learn and grow. I will teach her all I can. If she does something stupid I dont love her less. I help her. In the future I'm sure shes gonna cuss me out, say I hate you when I ground her. But I know she loves me and wont leave my love. She could murder 20 people and why of course I'd see the bad in it. But shes also my little girl and I'd love her forever.

No if you believe in god you are not supposed to be protected. If you were then there would be no choice in the world. God is supposed to be a support. Life is supposed to be hard. I think of it as a test. In fact I want life to be hard, I love the struggle. It feeds my ego, aggression fuels my life. Tough times are what make me wake up in the morning, flex all my muscles as hard as I can, and scream “lets fuckin go!” I love being callused from life. I don’t “believe” in god like Christians do. But I’m open to the thought that maybe someone is listening. If no one is listening that’s fine, I make life what I want to make it, not someone else, not god, but me. And when the day comes that I am supposed to die, if I am put on my knees in front of “god” then I will show him that I did the best that I could with what I had, in the most fucked up world that we live in.

Raised catholic but I'm pretty much just live right and morally. I know there is a presence greater than myself but the church freaks me out.

Men have rewritten the Bible to control the masses with fear and in some cases so they could get remarried n cut off the old missus head.
There is no such place as hell, but if heaven exists then if the bouncers wont let you in itd be hell waiting outside for all your mates.
Suffering dam wouldnt be alive if you didnt feel, good people dying horrible deaths if a God voided us of all this then we would all be useless.
A kid touches a hot flame they learn n dont touch it again.
But you have some people that like to suffer some people that physically cant feel pain and they hate it. Pain is a warning even mental pain.
We only went to church to hook up with chicks when i was a teenager 9 out of 10 churches are just money makers nowadays its BS.
Anyway my thought is dunno just be good and death Ive watched people die, they dont seem worried more a release from suffering.
