Thread: what religion are you?

Christian. I work in a Christian rehab for men. We work on the belief that any "life dominating sin" weather its drugs, alcohol, gambeling, porn, .......... its all "treatable" through scripture. And, yes, we use psychology to unravel the psyhological damage done in most peoples lives to help them better understand what drives them towards their sin of choice and then try to help them rebuild their lives based on the truths in scripture---the greatest being the love of Christ that forgives EVERY sin. Christian. (-: FYI---I'm better than I've every been---but I'm still a piece of work.

Tazzzz that's awesome bro,I also work in Christian recovery center for men, an addict myself for 22 years before coming to Christ, and now to be used by Him to reach other men like myself is amazing..all His glory..I'm also a work in progress with a long way to go, but getting better every day, wouldn't trade these days for nothing!

It is awsome Preacher. All the crap we went through qualifies us in a unique way to speak to those who suffer. I put several years of counseling education in as well to be better from a counseling perspective. Sadly, we will never be out of work. Stay the course--and stay in the gym!! 25 years addicted--15 years clean!

I believe 99% of bible BS... but energies and consciousness surpasses the body, energy doesnt just dissipate. I have seen enough crazy stuff to know there is other "frequencies" to our reality..

I have my own spirituality without needed guidance of people that think god told them this and that, but If I had to pick a main stream religion i guess I would say Buddhism .
God is real. but the word "God" is just a label to an energy force that many have a very primitive view of IMO

I was brought up roman catholic BTW...
