Do people really not want to see if better choices come available? I know the status quo is to nominate the incumbent for fear of losing the party’s hold on the presidency, but that’s not in the best interest of the country.

Sadly, the reality is that neither can win because this entire political shit show will continue. Americans who really care more about the country than their persons will again and always be faced with choosing the lesser of two evils when voting for the president.

I suppose if you support endless foreign wars and US troops perpetually occupying foreign lands then Dan Crenshaw would be a great choice.

Like I said, I agree with you on Tulsi. Not that I endorse her policies or would vote for her but she is the only one on that side with any sense and dignity whatsoever.

We will ALWAYS be involved in foreign wars and have troops there. When have we not? “Bringing the troops home” cannot and will never be done. Our involvement in other country’s affairs is critical to our survival. But it’s the whole law of reciprocity thing. Being elsewhere meddling also weaken us in some ways.
These promises always make me laugh (although I should cry). In 2008 I was on deployment the whole year. Every meal in the DFAC I had to listen to all the political bullshit flying out of the mouth of the candidates. Regurgitating dead horse. Obama promising to “close GTMO” which everyone loved but didn’t think to ask for a plan or alternative. It’s like a candidate says “Every American gets $1,000,000” but never says how the fuck that’s going to happen. We all just fall for it an say “HELL YEAH!”

I fucking hate my brothers and sisters dying for a bunch of booger eaters who share almost nothing culturally with us. Fucking cave men. But I don’t ever see that ceasing to exist.

As long as everyone wants their slice specifically the way they want it, with no compromise, that very pie will continue to divide and destroy what’s left of the country I love.

What has the country come to when veterans are mocked of their injuries and sacrifice? What happened to the reverence?
I am not one to throw the word “hero” around like so many do, but the motherfucker DOES rate a “V” device on his Navy Commendation medal. They don’t give those out very easily.

It CAN be patriotism. But if this attitude comes from someone who hasn’t ever been anywhere and doesn’t even have a ********, it’s called ignorance or even jingoism. Especially if your entire measure of the rest of the world is based on mass media. Just as most Mexicans seem to think Trump said they are all rapists and criminals, most Americans think every Mexican wants to come to the USA. Both bullshit perpetuated to keep us all off balance and in the case of America, in a state of fear.

It’s really hard to see any of it without stepping outside of the circus. When I visit the USA and see the continuous stream of divisive reporting, fear mongering about EVERYTHING and the promulgation of continuous lies and bullshit on EVERY media outlet, I see why the country is in dire straits. The problem is that watching TV, cruising FB et al, you can’t see the forest for the trees. I equate it to living in an opiate stupor. It is only once you get clean that you say “WTF?!”

The 2015-16 campaign and the post inauguration showed me how important being “outside” really is. I watched my lefty friends lose their minds about Trump. At the same time I watched my Trump supporting friends get almost fanatic about this guy. No middle ground with hurtful and insulting thing being said in both direction. No polite discourse. Wouldn’t have made for a good dinner party, at all.
In fact, it was the attacks on Trump from all political parties in 2015 that made me sit up and take notice, watching him to see why and if this was still part of the political machine/shit show.
It all triggered my finely tune bullshit detector.

Remember, being “The Best” doesn’t mean you are great or even good. It just means you are better than every other cunt out there trying to do the same thing.

A veteran has already been killed over these laws in Mass. Yet Crenshaw wants to coddle anti-2A policies. Red Flag Laws are NOT about safety. Lets say someone is legit "a danger to themselves or others"... So you stress them out more by swat-teaming their house out of nowhere. Ok, now the guns are gone and the PERSON who is the ACTUAL danger is still out in the world to hurt themselves or others. However, these laws are nothing but communist NWO back doors to take down threats to the deepstate agenda. Just last week, a whistle blower employee of Google was scheduled to meet with the DOJ and deliver evidence of election rigging by Dems... Google made a Red Flag call against the guy that morning and had ATF, local SWAT and Bomb Squad tear the guys house up, destroyed his evidence in the process (no co-incidence there) and now the guy has to PROVE HIS INNOCENCE of the false accusations against him by the caller!
