When do yall find it necessary to no longer put up with the political/religious opinions of others?

I enjoy having debate but there seems to be the vast majority of people who can't put it to the side and get really upset about it. I have plenty of friends with differing views, that is healthy. When you surround yourself with people who all think the same as you, that's when it gets dangerous IMO.

Im not for any sort of gun control but that doesnt mean that i cant have a friend who doesnt see it the same way.

We've been conditioned to condemn people who dont share our same beliefs. I blame social media and 24/7 news.

The views I'm vehemently against are those that, if materialized, would threaten my way (and it seems like yours also) way of life. I have some friends who turned have become card carrying members of the communist party of America. We were talking At a superbowl party. Im obviously far left, they're left of Bernie Sanders. I told them that I didnt care that weve been friends since preschool, that I'd shoot them without hesitation if they acted on all of their plans and ideas.... got kinda awkward after that haha

My mom use to say don't ever talk politics or religion with people because they know everything!

Unfortunately their are those who wont accept that you are entitled to have beliefs and opinions different to theirs.
Seriously though politics and religion can cause people to be ignorant fools.

I tend to steer clear of religious and political talk. These two subjects have caused more violence than anything else in the world. Most people don't have an open mind when it comes to these things. If we are all really honest with ourselves, i bet none of us have an open mind. You're not going to convince me your view is correct and I'm not going to convince you i am correct. I've never seen a civil debate with these subjects, so i don't bother
