I'm back to meal prepping. I thought I had a good enough knowledge of the calorie count of the food I was eating to not have to but I realized I was eating 3 cups of rolled oats a day.

My next 5 days will be:
      Breakfast
3 whole eggs and 9 egg whites cooked in a non-stick pan with little olive oil

      -2 hours pre-workout lunch
      2 scoops ON whey
      1cup rolled oats

      -Post workout lunch
      8 oz chicken breast broiled
3/4 cup (dry) of jasmin rice
      1 cup peas

      -Dinner
8 oz of salmon or Atlantic cod
      1 cup peas
      1 cup cottage cheese 2%

      -Snack
      10 baby carrots

      2700k/cal
      Fat 70g
      Carbs 227g
      Protein 280g

Today is heavy deads and moderate squats. My legs are going to get destroyed.

I forgot my wrist straps and stopped at 445lbs. I was doing over under, which I'm not used to, and I was rounding my upper shoulders and raising them. I think I'm too dependent on the straps and need to deadlift my lighter weights with an over under grip without straps so I can work on my form.

Squats, Romanian deadlifts, leg curls and planks went well though.

Fish. I had to read up been real busy with work and love to follow your thread you are putting a lot of work in. I had a guy long long time ago tell me to do a true deadlift no strap. I was very dependent on straps for a long time and just recently after pulling a tendon or someone in my forearm doing behind the neck pull-ups I have been using them. It took a long time to heal and sometimes I feel it pull so I have been using them. As far as deadlift goes I think if you use them to bring your lifting weight to the next level. Fuck it use them.. your going for mass and strength. Your not competing in a PL meet. You def will get stronger as long as you aren’t using them and using bad form.

Yeah... maybe forgetting my straps is a good thing? I didn't really plan my strategy out well. I'm in a meet in May. Now I know I need to work on my form without straps before then. I dont want to be pumped full of adrenaline during the comp and end up ripping a bicep or something. Maybe I'll stay sub 500s on deads and hope my squat and bench can carry me through?

Make sure you keep everything sterile. Here is a video from Dr.Er.
