I would only do this program if you are maxed out on linear progressions. Two friends of mine did it together. 1 was an accomplished lifter already squatting over 425 the other one started with a 225 squat. While they both added weight to their squat - The Accomplished Lifter got up to 515. The 225er only got up to 275 and lost a ton of strength on his other lifts.
They both complained of joint and hip pain.

Cool website.,too many numbers to be crunching for that smolov program for me,but i supose if your a competing powerlifter its a hellva Squat routine
