Flat Bench Dumbell Presses a Compound Exercise?

I was wondering if Flat Bench Dumbell Presses are a compound exercise just like the Bench Press?

X2 I agree with all of the above.

Compound exercises are multi-joint movements that rely on the coordinated actions of several muscle groups to move two or more joints through a range of motion. Both the barbell and DB bench press use both the shoulder and elbow joint so they are both "compound."
