Ontario Provincial Police arrived at 1344 Upper Wellington St., near Stone Church Road East, around 10 a.m., where they executed a search warrant and discovered a Performance Image Enhancing Drug lab inside a residential home.
Around 2 p.m., the OPP's drug enforcement operations co-ordinator Scott Mills said they had done air quality and health and safety tests around the property before investigators could fully search the home.
A Health Canada chemist was also called in to identify the different ingredients in the lab.

While the area was cordoned off and contained, he could not yet comment on what or how much exactly was seized.
Two people — a male and a female who live in the home — have been arrested, but no charges have been laid.
The bust is part of an "ongoing investigation" which involves several municipalities, Mills said.
The area is expected to remain closed off into the evening.

Hamilton pair charged after raid on steroid lab
A Hamilton man and woman are facing multiple charges after police raided an illegal steroid lab in their Mountain home.
Sukhvinder Singh and Laura Kathleen Szoke appeared in a Hamilton court Saturday morning where they were formally charged with production of a controlled substance, anabolic steroids, possession for the purpose of trafficking anabolic steroids and possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamines — all under the Controlled Drugs and Services Act.
Ontario Provincial Police say there are additional charges relating to cocaine and marijuana.
Both of them will be held in custody until a bail hearing next week.
OPP drug enforcement operations co-coordinator Scott Mills said the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be laid.
"There were so many chemicals and pharmaceuticals, a lot of it was labeled, some of it was not labeled. It's very, very hard to tell until we sit and dissect every exhibit," said Mills, noting hundreds of items were seized.
OPP executed a search warrant around 10 a.m. Friday at the newly built home on Upper Wellington Street near Stone Church Road East when they discovered the Performance Image Enhancing Drug (PIED) lab.
"The warrant was for the production of a controlled substance, and what we found was evidence of production of a controlled substance and controlled substances we were searching for," Mills said.
Officials on the scene including OPP, Hamilton Police, Health Canada, Hamilton Fire and EMS had to use the highest level of safety and take extra precautions because there were so many unidentified substances in the home.
Mills said so far they have identified PIEDs, cocaine and methamphetamine. Due to the ongoing investigation, Mills could not give any more details about what led police to the Mountain home.
Most neighbours in the area did not know Singh or Szoke because they moved into their home at the end of last year and kept to themselves. They have two dogs, a Rottweiler and a smaller breed that were often seen in the backyard.
On Saturday morning, a white Escalade was parked beside a white Acura in the driveway where the accused were arrested. There were no signs of the massive drug bust that took place 24 hours earlier.
