I got friends I'd lay down my life for any day before I'd do the same for so called "FAMILY"! Blood is only as thick as your loyalty is that's what I believe. I'm ex military though and come from multiple foster homes till I was rescued by a loving family so I could be slightly biased here lol.

Agreed "family" includes tight friends I will go to my grave protecting these people. Family is not synonymous with blood since blood can be bottom feeders on society even if its shared with you. Decide who your family is.
