Only when somebody scams and/or rips people off of their hard earned money or products. You post the info you have just in case somebody else is about to send money to that same name.

I think it is a really bad idea to post someone's personal info on here regardless to if you think Ragnor was JT or who he said he was. One of the images posted here was screenshots of text messages sent between him and DWBO (I think) and then the dude's phone number gets posted. Well if LE wants to supeona the phone records of the number posted and then looks for the messages posted they can easily find out who DWBO is and I am sure we can all imagine how the dominoes begin to fall from there.

Same thing with posting someone's address. In the feds in 2006 14.4% of inmates cooperated and provided enough substantial evidence to the prosecutor to warrant a sentence reduction for the inmate. That means about 1 in 6 people told. Now I am not saying anyone would rat if the feds showed up but is it really worth taking that chance just to notify people in case someone might get worked out of a few bucks?

Just my 2 cents.

Not following what the Feds have to do with this. How do you know those statistics? And from 2006...just not seeing the relevance. "Ragnor" was giving me specific advice on GH that was outlandish. I only dismissed his advice because I thought he was much more advanced than I am in the BB hobby/lifestyle. I know now, because I'm further along in my learning & understanding of GH, that had I taken that advice I would have run in to problems. I was raised poor and in that environment if you fucked with someone like that it was lights out. When "Ragnor" dove in to the lies and deceit he knew there would be consequences if caught. So I say out his ass and leave it alone.

How the Feds figure in to this "low level" matter I'm just not seeing it.

I am familiar with the feds and if you think this site is too low level to draw their attention then I am speechless. I know the stats because I have read a book by Larry Fassler called Busted by The Feds and have been to the feds and have a good number of friends there too. If you want to look up what I am talking about it is called a 5k1.1. You can also read on what they consider as a conspiracy to be and the downfalls to that.

I am not trying to argue on the topic. Just stating what I know to be true. Everyone goes through the trouble of using encrypted anonymous emails and takes steps to make sure their personal info isn't on here and then to go and put a phone number on here that has had contact with other people on here just isn't smart. It is actually pretty stupid.

I don't want to see anyone get in trouble so I thought I would mention it.
