Most days I only drink two shakes and get the rest from food. Post workout 70 grams whey, Pre bed 50 grams whey/80 grams casein and if I wake up I'll drink another 50 gram whey.
Of course there are exceptions, if i don't have time during the day for a real meal I'll replace it with a 60 gram whey shake with raw oatmeal.
I try to get my protein in with whole foods. Sometimes, I drink a whey protein shake upon waking in the am, +/- 40 grams. I mostly workout in the evening and will have a whey + casein shake (50 grams or so) after workout as my last meal of the day.

none. I like isopure rtds, but I don't like to spend the money on them.
I got away from shakes years ago and get my nutrition from whole food
I'll usually throw back 40-50g of whey with a cup of blended oats right after my workout but that's about it.
I chuck 40gm of whey on my oats every morning just to give it some flavor
Stiphy - If you haven't had the chance yet, read Pain's prior post on Protein Shakes and the difference in how they are absorbed. Really good stuff to know. Before reading that, I just bought Whey Isolate Protein power. Now I see that the Casein stuff is important to throw in the mix if you're going to do protien shakes. Of course, whole foods are our best source of intake. But powders are convenient and I usually do one in the morning and one in the evening before bed. That before bed one (according to Pain's article) is the one I need to start making the Casein protein due to the absorbtion properties.
