Cramps
Need a little help brothers. My doc increased my lisinopril/hctz to 40/50 mg a day and I've been getting quite a bit of cramps. My water intake is a minimum of 20 bottles a day. I started this 5 days ago, any suggestions? Thanks guys

Add a high dosed magnesium supplement to your diet. It helps really well for cramps. Bananas helps also (because of the potassium).

I suggest calling your Dr and letting him know what's going on. I had a similar issue when I was prescribed Benicar/Htz. My Dr just gave me the Benicar without the diuretic, and put me on Spironolactone ,which is a potassium sparing diuretic. Never had a problem since..

I would go with this, its simple, natural, doesn't add stress your system, has other benefits and is proven. Magnesiumand potassium play a very important role in preventing cramps.. the only other thing i can think of is taurine
