I just tried Universal's Shock Therapy. It states 1-2 scoops so I tried just over 1 1/2 scoops first time. I had the peach iced tea flavour which tastes really nice. In fact if you filled your shaker with water it would probably taste just like a regular peach iced tea. It's a weird one as I thought it was good but nothing that stood out too much. I didn't expect it to be great but I am a fan. Good pumps and energy but nothing too much. The main postive for it is I feel great on it and post workout I am feeling energetic. I am usually very tired post workout so that's a welcomed change. Plus I trained really hard so overall an 8/10 so far but I will try 2 scoops tomorrow. I think this would be great for the beginner to pre workouts and you can move up in dose through the days/weeks.

Just a question guys if you become tolerant to a preworkout for a period of time lets say 6 months or so would it be ideal to detox like stop taking any preworkout for a couple weeks? or try a different product. I usually tend to use more scoops and still does jack shit to me, I've been taking the gat nitroflex for a while more of an placebo effect for me now. I wonder what everyones take is on this, I miss the days where I had veins popping and insane pumps. Thanks

Definitely take breaks plus don't use them everyday. If you are using a pre workout about 5 days per week I would say ideally after 1 month have 2 weeks off. You lose sensitivity fast. High doses of stimulants can also effect the adrenal cortex which is very important. Abuse of pre workouts could end up effecting stress hormones such as cortisol and even blood pressure. Definitely try and have 2 weeks off all caffeine every 1-2 months. So no coffee, tea, coke etc either. You will notice a massive difference in regards to response after a long break. Having shorter breaks will give you back sensitivity but you will lose it fairly quickly once you start the stimulants again. This is a reason why I recommend rotating between 2-3 products too. Perhaps a stronger stimulant for legs etc and more of a pump product for arms day as an example. Everyone is different but I personally thought nitraflex was crap. Although it gets really good reviews. I even tried their newer one called PMP and it felt just like nitraflex just slightly stronger. Both were a disappointment to me but again everyone is different.

My go to pre is IFBB Pro Jeff Long's pre workout product "Like a Pro Pump". It has only 125mgs of caffeine which I personally like because I've been trying to ween myself off of being completely dependent on stimulants just to get thru the day. Everything is clinically dosed and no prop blends to hide ingredients. Its the best pump product I've used by far! Definitely worth taking a look at

I tried 2 scoops of Quake 10.0 the other day and I was disappointed. I had no caffeine that day or the day before either. Obviously the pumps were good but the energy and focus wasn't really there. But you can never judge a pre workout on 1 day as there are so many variables. I will try it again soon and hopefully it only gets better.
I haven't been able to train for about 4 days due to lower back issues. I trained earlier for the first time but still haven't recovered so I picked a pre workout that wouldn't give me great pumps (lower back). I went with 1 scoop of Nutrex's Hemo Rage Underground (Black Series) and it felt great. I learnt in the pass my sweet spot for this product is about 1.25-1.5 scoops but just used 1 today. Great energy and the pumps were better than expected too. Although I did train chest and arms which always get pumped up easily for me. It's definitely more a stimulant based product and I give it about a 8/10.
