Sorry about the late reply. Yes you need a break to increase your sensitivity. I would have 1 month off all caffeine. There are products I am sure you would feel though but still get your sensitivity back first. Have you tried any DMHA or DMAA based pre workouts? I will compile an updated pre workout list with ratings in the next few days and post it.
A good starter would be The Curse by Cobra Labs. The label is crap but it performs very well. 50 servings per tub. Start at 1 scoop and work up. 2 scoops should give you a great boost. It's also just caffeine based and not very strong so you should be fine. Although if you are sensitive any product could stay with you especially the first week of using. We also have a different response to caffeine and it's in our genes. Some process it quicker than others with the slower ones needing approx 8 hours for it to clear their system. The Curse should be great for you though so if you try it out let me know how it goes.
