In regards to maximizing muscle growth, not sure there are any new supplements that make a huge impact, but my year round staples are a full spectrum multivitamin and fish oil. Also creatine, bcaas, glutamine, nothing fancy really. Training, diet, and PEDs are going to really make the difference.

Yep if your diet, training and lifestyle are pretty well in check the only real leg up is gear.
