I got my labs back from my annual physical last week. Total cholesterol was ok at 194. HDL (good cholesterol) was decent at 45. However my LDL (bad cholesterol) was high at 134 and Triglycerides were high at 161. My numbers are usually better and I know that I can make improvement with dietary changes.

My doctor also recommended Red Yeast Rice 2X a day. He said it would help with both the LDL and Triglycerides. Anyone taken Red Yeast Rice before? Was it beneficial?
