      Red Yeast Rice

      I got my labs back from my annual physical last week. Total cholesterol was ok at 194. HDL (good cholesterol) was decent at 45. However my LDL (bad cholesterol) was high at 134 and Triglycerides were high at 161. My numbers are usually better and I know that I can make improvement with dietary changes.

      My doctor also recommended Red Yeast Rice 2X a day. He said it would help with both the LDL and Triglycerides. Anyone taken Red Yeast Rice before? Was it beneficial?

      It used to be benifical , but they removed the station like component to it. Try adding fish oil and citrus betgamout to your supplement line up and I think you'll see some improvement

      Thank you brother. I have flax oil which has similar benefits to fish oil. Will definitely check out citrus betgamout.
