      Protein Help Guys!!

      So check this out I been using SYNTHA 6 as a meal replacement (as needed) for 10 years due to the calories and protein mix. I use ON whey gold standard after workouts. For 3 weeks I have had the worst bloating and gas I've ever had in my life. I had myself tested for H. pylori, been eating zantac, nexium, Simethicone like its gone out of style. I have been miserable to say the least. I pinpointed it tonight and its def the Syntha 6. I don't seem to have any issues with the Whey. And also I don't have issues with milk. Confused as shit why this started out of nowhere too. I know our bodies change but this still makes my effing face hurt wondering why.

      Any ideas or has anyone had anything similar to this? And what did you switch to if so?

      I use BPI's Best Protein vanilla flavor without any issues and sometimes I mix it with Cytosport's Muscle Milk banana flavor. I used to use Muscle Milk exclusively, particularly the banana flavor because I like the whey it tastes. I've since moved to using BPI's products exclusively and mix the Muscle Milk with the Best Protein for the banana taste. I mix 1 scoop of each when making it and usually drink one a day only on workout days.

      Well you have several options. First would be find a protein that pure whey isolate and see how that works. Redcon1 isotope, nutrabio whey isolate, dymatize iso 100, or any brand you come across tht has whey isolate. The key is reading the ingredients and making sure it’s made with whey isolate rather then whey concentrate & whey isolate.

      If whey is out of the question then you’ll have to buy pea isolate protein which is a substitute for whey protein in general. Hope that helps brotha

      I second the nutrabio. I run this and ON gold standard. It seems when I run the gold standard to heavy my guts get twisted up and constantly have horrible gas. I’ve also found that a good pro biotic thrown in the mix makes a difference.

      Hey TJ! The problem with those whey proteins are the companies keep switching additives trying to cut pricing , create new flavors, or improve taste... i dont use any of those 'flavored' whey products... find yourself a good unflavored whey, such as true nutrition... and blend fruits, oats, honeys, macadamia nut or hazelnut oils, egg whites... ect ect.. with the unflavored whey... also, use it in your oatmeal or pancake mix
