Yes and no. There are some things not attainable with foods in the volumes required by athletes. Regular people, maybe, people pushing limits, no.
Plus there are supplements that perform things that their pharmacological equivalents do, only safer (my opinion). Red yeast rice is a good example.
No way people can get enough D from foods.

RxElixer. Sometimes on amazon sometimes on eBay. This is my must have cycle assist. Says to take 6 caps per day but I only take 3 capsules per day. I know its only a supplement but taken long enough and its actually helped with my liver enzymes and blood pressure when running heavy orals. Overall this looks like a great supplement in many ways. However a lot of the doses are nowhere near they need to be to have a real effect. It's often the case with your all in one supps that they contain pointless amounts of certain ingredients just so they can show the ingredient on the list. An example a lot of the ingredients that are great for blood pressure in that product are very underdosed such as hawthorn berry, garlic, coenzyme q10 and magnesium. I think most would be better off deciding what they need most (bp, liver, kidney, cholesterol etc) and picking a small number of products with clinical doses. Although if you just wanted to use 1 product only that is definitely a good one.

I agree. I would rather take a Ginger root extract capsule for travel sickness than eat raw Ginger root as another example. The list is pretty endless. Then can come the convenience of whey isolate over food at certain times and no whole food protein is not any better. Obviously whole foods and a good diet should be the fundamentals in everything but there are still uses for certain supplements especially for bodybuilders who need to be at their peak performance. Although I am not the biggest fan of red yeast rice as a supplement but have used it myself to drive down LDL quickly in the past.

I do agree with you about some of the dosages, however, taking this to cover your bases is a lot better than what most do which is not take anything at all. Persoally, I like to take this and if I have specific issue take more of that specific item to help. I do agree with you 100% that good diet and training is really the key. All this is the icing on the cake not the whole cake. But like you said as far as comprehensive supps go its a good one and its my go to for sure.

I completely agree. MPA do 2 good products (heartsolve and cardiosolve) I will try out in the near future. It means using 2 products instead of about 8. The best supplement I have used for blood pressure is ayush herbs carditone. Although I also use NOW Food's Blood pressure formula that contains grape seed extract and hawthorn berry.

Elixir looks like a great all in one for guys who just want to keep it simple. As you put if someone has 1 particular issue then they could add 1 another product to it. Examples being if someone had bp issues they could add something to it such as carditone. Kidney issues then 4g+ of astragulus. Cholesterol then 500-1000mg citrus bergamot and so on.
