      omega 3-6-9

Is it necessary to take a omega 3-6-9 (fish, flax, borage)
Or is omega 3 all you need?

I personally go with all three. not much of a cost difference and just as easy. is there a reason you would consider only the one?

I only take omega 3's... todays modern diet is skewed towards omega 6, so most peoples ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 is out of whack. adding omega 3 and cutting back omega 6 is the best idea for most. (most vegetable oils are omega 6 i believe?)

but it would really depend on your diet and nutrition program....

here are some quote from some articles

Over the course of human evolution there has been a dramatic change in the ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fats consumed in the diet. This change, perhaps more than any other dietary factor, has contributed to the epidemic of modern disease.
In plain english, what this means is that the more omega-3 fat you eat, the less omega-6 will be available to the tissues to produce inflammation. Omega-6 is pro-inflammatory, while omega-3 is neutral. A diet with a lot of omega-6 and not much omega-3 will increase inflammation. A diet of a lot of omega-3 and not much omega-6 will reduce inflammation.

Most oils you cook with are omega 6,our diets are filled with omega 6. So depending on diet, you wil need more 3.

I always try to incorporate omega 3 in higher amounts. The 6,9 mostly come from our normal healthy diet.
