It’s very likely it wasn’t your doctor who made that error. I worked in a pharmacy for a few years and doctors writing is notoriously hard to read. The pharmacy tech is the one who is responsible for inputting the instructions on the label and that’s a very easy mistake to make when typing with medical shorthand. The pharmacist was the one who should have caught that error before he/she approved it.
