How long to wait for testosterone cypionate to be out of body.

I tried test for a few months. I got it from a friend who is on it. I felt better than ever. I told my doctor how it made me feel and he believes I am a candidate for test replacement. He told me to stop taking it and then come in for bloodwork when it is out of my system. Does anyone know how long it takes to be out of my system? I was taking 2 shots a week at 50iu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, when you say 50iu...you mean .50 ml? If that is the case, 250 ew for months, I’d say a month from your last pin you should be g2g.

The steady state for Test C is 7 weeks. Meaning when you start it and stay on the same protocol by week 7 you will level out. Some say the body doesn't fully find it's new level until a few weeks more. But you'll have a good idea around then.

In your case I'm assuming you only took Test and stopped. Your body was beginning to shut down natural production, so you body will probably do a semi crash and your numbers should dive down I'd think. I'd wait at least 5 weeks. Try to exercise and stay active in that time. It'll help get it out of your system and lower your test numbers.

Ask before you start with this guy what his protocols look like. Also without telling him see how he test estradiol. If he does standard and not sensitive, hes behind the times. Also see if he will test your shbg to determine what protocol is right for you. If he doesn't he doesn't know what he's doing. Unfortunately their are alot more bad places then good places. Good luck.


Btw: Their is no way of knowing how much you injected per week with the info you provided. What was the actual mg per shot? We would need to see the bottle to see if 1ml is 100 or 200mg then do some math.

If it's a standard bottle you may have been doing 200mg a week. That's alot for TRT. Thats considered the upper limit of TRT. Most would need to be on a AI. You'll run in problems if you or the place you use doesn't know what they're doing. You may end up needing to donate blood every 2 to 3 months which will kill your iron levels too.

I'd do some research and educate yourself on all this before starting again if the TRT route is the way you want to go. It's a life long commitment.

You don't want to go there shut down on any avenues of hpta function theyll disregard the bloods and say you need to wait.

If you go to a real dr, what couchlockd said is very true. I'm guessing since your dr never mentioned a timeline he is only looking for low T numbers to justify putting you on trt and making money.

In a way you would be much better off letting your system fully reset so you have a good base line to work off of. That info will be key to being put on a good protocol. Knowing if you are primary or secondary as far as testosterone goes helps in these decisions on what your protocol should be.

You may not even have low T numbers, thyroid problems share many of the same symptoms as being low T.

You don't want to be on TRT if you don't need to. Before you tried it what symptoms did you have that made you feel you needed it? How old are you?

I was doing 400 a week of test cyp. Needed to come off for doctor to test my labs. Waited 5 weeks and tested where I needed to.
