Itching to get back on trt
I’m 53 years old and I was on trt for around 8 years well I abused it I was doing like 300-350 a week so I ended up with stage three kidney disease due to high blood pressure and too much protein intake and taking shots of DayQuil to sleep basically being ignorant, well it’s been 8 months since my last pin and now my kidney function is just about back to normal gfr 88.5 (it had gone down to 53) and I’m itching get get back on except this time keep it at 150 a week because if lost so much muscle it’s ridiculous, I’m wondering if I should risk it , I’m not planning on sucking down tons of protein I’m still working out , I just want to get some muscle back and some pice of mind , any input would be appreciated thank you

Not unless you can control yourself and honestly based on your post it sounds like in a few short months you'll be looking to push up again a little at a time. Why not just go through your doctor for legit trt that will force you to stay in the proper dosing range? Or is that not an option since he'll not want to risk you dying or destroying what's left of your kidneys.
Blood pressure is the real kidney killer. They handle excessive protein just fine as long as everything else is good. If you're dead set to do it then I'd be 100% sure I had my BP under control with meds and monitor daily, get bloods done every 3 months and stay far away from excessive protein and creatine (skews kidney function results).
Or you could change your focus and be the leanest 53 year old in the gym. It just requires focus on maintaining your diet and putting in the work. You can have a lot less muscle and be extremely impressive if you're down in the mid single digit bf range. Competitive bodybuilders do it at every show. Most are easily 15-30 pounds lighter than their heaviest off season weight.

At your age your protein intake doesn't need to be that of a 25 yr old. Shots of Nyquil, meds, not enough water, alcohol, and other things can wear out your kidney. BP,,,(imo) is not an issue. High BP is an adaptation, it is not a disease (ye, I know what the dr's say)....notice every adult over the age of freakin 40 is on BP meds. Why in the world would someone want to restrict blood flow to their organs by staying on BP meds....they aren't vitamins, meds are not for maintenance. High BP doesn't do near the damage we are led to believe in this....nation. Something is CAUSING the high BP,,,find out what it is and correct it...the high BP in itself is not an issue.
Ye, I know this goes against mainstream belief, but remember where u live. Healthcare is no longer about health....its about money, period.
And yes, I would get back on TRT at around 100--150/wk....most likely u will not find a competent Dr/Endo, etc. I do my own TRT, read my own bloods and take care of myself...much better than a "dr" can.

Besides your opinion, you have any actual medical studies to back up any of this information you're giving related to bp not being a major contributing factor to kidney destruction? Please link them in your response I'd like to read them as your information contradicts all of the known medical knowledge WORLD WIDE not just in the US.

You should probably do some research about the action of bp meds also.
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are blood pressure medications that inhibit the activity of the enzyme angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), which is important for controlling blood pressure.
Angiotensin II is a very potent chemical formed in the blood by ACE from, angiotensin I. When formed, angiotensin II causes the muscles surrounding blood vessels to contract, thus narrowing the vessels and increasing blood pressure. ACE inhibitors are medications that inhibit the activity of ACE which decreases the production of angiotensin II. As a result, these medications cause the blood vessels to enlarge or dilate, and this reduces blood pressure. This lower blood pressure makes it easier for the heart to pump blood and can improve the function of a failing heart. In addition, the progression of kidney disease due to high blood pressure or diabetes is slowed.

It may sound counter intuitive but trt could possibly lower your bp. For example you have low T you feel like shit , you’re stressed out and depressed some which is raising your cortisol levels which in return wreaking havoc and having a domino effect messing with all your other levels. Get bloods done and look at the whole picture then go from there.

How high was your b.p. and how long. Did you drink alcohol prior to trt in life?

Ill get on that when I have the time. Ye, Ive seen the literature b4, that u posted above.
Ive read various docs from heart surgeons, have an uncle that's been (a good, old school, about health not money) DR since I can remember....and Im not young. And no...not world wide. Read some European and Canadian med journals (as I have)...theyre a far cry from American ones.
I may or may not get back with u with some links, if I came across harsh,,,thats me. As stated (IMO).
I have had loved ones fall to the bullshit money driven mainstream BELIEFS that plaque American medicine/healthcare. You want a bone ? Youtube Dr John Bergmans vids....on BP and every other misguided health issue this country has. I can come plenty correct...but again, as stated (IMO) so I doubt Ill take them time.
If the OP wants to PM me, Ill be happy to speak with him
