      Testosterone formulations: best transdermal absorption?

Serious and valid question, so hoping for some real answers... not just flames and sarcasm.

Question: which Testosterone formulation--cypionate, enanthate, propionate--is likely to have the best (fastest, most efficient) transdermal (through the skin) absorption? No need to tell me that these formulations are meant to be injected... again, it's a real question...

Any answer you get would be speculation. I don't believe there has been any studies using testosterone WITH AN ESTER for transdermal absorption.
It's my opinion that none would be absorbed because the testosterone molecule with an ester attached would be too large to pass through
the skin barrier. Only testosterone base will absorb and even it only absorbs at a certain percentage depending on the carrier used.

Thanks, Alan0160... Maybe another way of asking: which formulation (Cyp, En, Prop) needs to be injected most often? (my theory: the faster a formulation breaks down, the higher the potential absorption rate)

If you're going to make a transdermal I would strongly suggest using Test Base and using it every day. Transdermals do not absorb all that great and if you have all those longer esters such as the Enanthate as well as the Cypionate it's just going to make it all that much harder to get into the skin. These longer estered compounds are very hard to even get into a cream solution. They will be extremely gritty and when the cream dries you will be left will crystals all over your skin. However if you use Test Base, it absorbs so much better. You may even be able to get away with using the Acetate ester but that is absolutely the only other ester I would even waste my time with. Hope that helps.

I haven't messed with this in along time but if memory serves me test with any ester is extremely if not impossible to use as a traditional trans-dermal. I have read that there are some test cyp gels but do not know the mechanics behind it. I would assume the absorption rate would be in the 10% in less range. Most of us used tren and DMSO way back in the day and the absorption was terrible. If its something you are really wanting to pursue, I would try test base (no ester) with some DMSO or phlogel. I have no clue how to mix it though. If you've been around long enough there is a guy around that could guide you.

How about just putting the Test Base directly onto my skin? Bad idea?

Yes bad Idea. You need some kind of carrier to help absorb the compound such as DMSO or like was stated up above Phlogel. DMSO is cheaper and works well but will leave you with a garlic odor on your skin and can also come through when sweating. Phlogel is the best in my opinion. You have to order it directly from the manufacturer but it is well worth the money. I don't use transdermals but I make them all the time for family members. They seem to do ok with them. If you want to know how to mix it all just go to www.basskilleronline.com..........Good info and directions for doing the formulas. It's really easy actually.
