This sounds expensive! Ultimately if you get your trt dialed in with a doc that keeps you at high normal it’s much easier to make gains and stay leaner, provided you’re doing the work in the gym and kitchen. It’s no magic pill but at least it should help with staying motivated.
I would continue to dig a big deeper on your trt journey. And steer clear of any other compounds until you get that dialed. You might be surprised with a decent test level and a good diet how much that can help a guy in his 40’s.
You might also want to look into some other resources online. Excel male is a good forum with lots of trt info on it. It’s dedicated to trt and is a good resource.
Also on a side note trt should not be that expensive. The initial consults and getting started yes they can be pricey but moving forward it’s should be relatively inexpensive.

That was my thoughts as well. That I am giving a copay every week to get this shot where I have heard in the past that some docs prescribe the test then just check bloodwork as necessary.
Part of me just wanted to just use a testosterone source here, do my thing then just do bloodwork quarterly with an online testing doc for a kit then address as needed but this clinic is close to my house and again just liked the idea of things being addressed as needed but shit is expensive over time.
Kind of why I wanted to pick the brains of some of the members to see what experiences they have or is this doc Milking me for copays and dragging this journey along.

Well at least you’re on the right track. When I started I was on compounded cream and the doc wanted to put me pellets. Glad I did my research and found a way better doctor.
Keep in mind when doing trt I would always use a Pharm grade test purely because of dosing. Many UGL are either under dosed or over dosed. You’re talking between $40-$100 for a 10ml vial of cyp. So even at the high end it’s $10 a week 200ml. Food for thought.

Thanks bro,
my copay with this doc under my insurance is 30 a week :-(
That’s why I’m sort of tying to pic the brains of guys who have experience and if they are not on TRT then how are they managing test/sides etc.
Or perhaps your right and I just have to research and find a doc that is cool with adding extras in a controlled way and can monitor me. But at 120 a month low doses not feeling that too much...lol..
Thanks for your feedback and info i appreciate that.

I am also on trt,my doctor prescribes me androgel. I hated it at first, but after a while I started to feel “normal”again. You need to take just your trt and nothing else that will mess with your levels. I made the mistake of taking swarms and otc test boosters and my blood work came back way off.My doctor was pissed and told me that in order for treatment to work I have to follow the protocol. It’s not easy to find a general practitioner who prescribes trt,so I am making sure to take care of my relationship with the doctor. I get blood work every six months so I have a larger window to run a cycle. I usually start it a few days after drawing blood. I also do private md labs mid cycle to make sure nothing is way off and adjust my dosages accordingly. I would suggest looking for another doctor that test every six months, even if it is the gel.It sucks at first, but it does work. I pay $10 every three months for my prescription.Hope this was helpful

Some are strict and others don’t give a F. But I take 100mg from MD. I buy adex, cyp, sust etc from PSL or EP. I usually add another 100mg cyp. Sometimes I will add sust but usually only a few times a yr
