Thread: Ramping down Test for MD labs

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with ramping down to normal T range for MD labs? I am on 100mg TRT a wk. I add another 100mg on my own. I need to ramp down so when I do the lab, my T levels are normal and not super high. This wk started backing down and pinned only 100mg 1x. How many wks do you think I should pin 100mg so get back to a normal range for labs?

Everyone is different but maybe 4 to 6 weeks it depends how high you went.

I would take your own bloods 4 weeks after and see where you are at. That's your best bet.

I am gonna. Just bought the lab. You think it would take 4wks for my test to regulate?

What ester is it? I know test c and e takes 4 weeks to get into your system fully. That's why I say 4 to 6 weeks.

Test C. I am not trying to get it all out. Just hit about a 400-500 reading for my Test 4-5days in.

I'm just saying what I would do. I would give it 4 weeks and get re tested. Your hormone levels need to regulate. I'm sure someone has a better more scientific answer than mine. But let's say you're at 2500 peaking. And you need to get back down to 800. That won't happen over night.

Right. But I am only on 200mg per wk. That wouldn’t yield a 2500 testosterone. I was peaking around 900 last time mid wk on 200mg a wk. Thanks

Yeah I was being hypothetical. You didn't post any labs how can I know where you are at?? You asked for advice....im literally dealing with what you're going thru at this moment. Do whatever you want man. When ever I change my protocol I give it 4 weeks to regulate using E and C ester. Good luck
